MANUFACTURE OF FLOORING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To contrive lighter weight of the titled material by a method wherein, a synthetic resin pellets each colored in different manners are subjected under rolling, and on the back surface thereof, a light weight synthetic resin layers mixed with inorg. pulverized particle hollow filling agent are laminated. CONSTITUTION:At the first nip 4 being constituted by the first roll 1 and the second roll 2, the pellets are crushed flat and rolled, while at the second nip 5, consisting of the second roll and the third roll 3, a sheet passing the first nip, is finish- rolled at a preset thickness. A quasi-marble patterned sheet 8 being rolled-in laminates an intermediary layer 24 of light weight synthetic resin layers in the next processing stage. The light weight synthetic resin 24 consists of a coating material wherein a large amount of inorg. pulverized particle hollow filling agent such as ''SHIRASU'' balloon is added into a vinylchloride group resin plastisol.
