An apparatus for controlling light according to an embodiment of the present invention may include: a wireless communications unit which receives tag information transferred from a light switch unit; a control unit which matches the received tag information to at least one lighting device among multiple lighting devices, registers the lighting device, and controls the lighting devices by using the registered tag information; and a storage unit which stores identification information of the matched lighting device and the tag information.
