<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device for a reach type forklift which reliably and completely prevents turnover mechanically not electrically, reduces the number of parts by a simple configuration, enables cost reduction, and achieves improvement in maintainability. <P>SOLUTION: The fall prevention device has a pair of right and left vehicle body supports 43 which descends from a bottom face of a pair of right and left outriggers 13 of a vehicle body 14 to the vicinity of a traveling face 23 when a mast 17 moves backward and the forklift is brought into a reach-in state, and ascends to the bottom face of the outriggers 13 when the mast 17 moves forward and the forklift is brought into a reach-out state. When the vehicle body 14 leans in a horizontal direction, the vehicle supports 43 is grounded to the traveling face 23 to prevent the vehicle body 14 from further leaning and turning over. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
