<p>Disclosed is a process for producing a high-purity bisaminophenylalkylurea as the desired compound in high yield while attaining a high volumetric efficiency and generating little by-product. A (nitrophenyl)alkylamine hydrohalogenide represented by formula (1) and a carbonyl compound represented by formula (2) are subjected to condensation reaction in an amide solvent in the presence of a base to produce a nitro compound represented by formula (3). Subsequently, the obtained nitro compound is reduced in a lower alcohol solvent to thereby produce a bisaminophenylalkylurea represented by formula (4).</p> |
