<p>A computer implemented method for obtaining a virtual shadow within a virtual scenario from a person, Comprises, using an algorithm executed in a processing unit of a computing device: extracting, of a captured image of a person, a silhouette image of the person; locating at least a position of the person feet on the silhouette image, locating a tridimensional position corresponding in the virtual scenario; and obtaining a person shadow image to be placed on said located position of the person feet in the virtual scenario, the obtaining being performed by estimating different contributions that come from the located position of the person feet in the silhouette image and/or from different pixels or groups of pixels also located on the silhouette image and selected depending on their relative positions to the person feet.</p> |
