<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image pickup device and an image pickup device which can add pixels by superposing addition units one on another. <P>SOLUTION: The solid state image pickup device includes a pixel array part 100, a row scanning part 110, an A/D conversion part 120, first to n'th memory regions MR1 to MRn, a write control part 141, a readout control part 142, and a weighting addition part. The write control part 141 stores each pixel value included in an addition unit respectively in different memory regions out of the first to n'th memory regions MR1 to MRn. The readout control part 142 exerts control for reading out pixel values included in a first addition unit and control for reading out pixel values included in a second addition unit which includes common pixels shared with the first addition unit. The weighting addition part performs weighting addition on pixel values included in the addition units which have been read out, and outputs pixel values which have been added this way as added pixel values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
