<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a Ca component and a Fe component from iron and steel slag and reuse the separated Ca and Fe components in an iron making process. <P>SOLUTION: A method for separating components from iron and steel slag by using a hydrochloric acid solution comprises: a step 1 of treating the iron and steel slag with the hydrochloric acid solution in a dissolution tank, so that the Ca component is separated to be a CaCl<SB POS="POST">2</SB>solution and the Fe component is separated to be an undissolved material; a step 2 of electrolyzing the separated CaCl<SB POS="POST">2</SB>solution to produce Cl<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, H<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and Ca(OH)<SB POS="POST">2</SB>; and a step 3 of synthesizing HCl from the Cl<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and H<SB POS="POST">2</SB>produced by the electrolysis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
