A variable displacement swash plate type compressor comprises a housing, a driving shaft, a swash plate, a link device, a piston, a conversion device, an actuator, and a control device. The swash plate can be rotated together with the driving shaft in a swash plate chamber. The conversion device makes the piston reciprocate in a pair of cylinder bores. The actuator changes a slope angle of the swash plate. The actuator can be integrally rotated with the driving shaft. The actuator comprises a partitioning object, a moving object, and a control pressure chamber. The control device changes the pressure of the control pressure chamber to move the moving object. The moving object tows the swash plate and increases a slope angle when the pressure of the control pressure chamber increases. |
