A Fixing To Retain Insulation said fixing has a main body 10 incorporating at least one hole, slotted hole or slot 16 that overlies the timber or fixing surface 33, at least one insulation retaining tooth 24 that overlies the insulation and at least one locating prong/lug/leg 74 positioned along, on or around the body for the purpose of acting as a guide or stop to aid in fixing. The locating prong/lug/leg may be formed from within the confines of the body (figure 3) or as a separate piece (74,fig.7) welded, glued or moulded to the body. Strengthening channels 27 may also be provided. |
