<p>Disclosed is a method for efficiently producing an L-amino acid using bacteria which can efficiently produce an L-amino acid. L-amino acids such as L-lycine are manufactured by: culturing bacteria belonging to the Enterobacteriaceae in a medium, said bacteria being capable of L-amino acid production and being modified so that UspA protein activity decreases; producing and accumulating the L-amino acid in the medium; and collecting the L-amino acid from the medium.</p> |
