The present invention is to provide an overheating preventing device of a lightning arrester for an extra high voltage transformer substation, comprising: a fixed plate which is fixed to an upper end of a lightning arrester by a fastener; multiple coupling holes which are formed on the fixing plate and the horizontal surface of an elbow-type fixing terminal so that the elbow-type fixing terminal is horizontally rotated and fixed by a fastener on the fixed plate; and a clamp which is fixed by a fastener by rotating in vertical, horizontal, and oblique directions according to a lead line by punching multiple coupling holes on a vertical face of the elbow fixing terminal fixed to the fixed plate. A corona generation preventing member is additionally attached to the rear of the elbow-type fixing terminal to be coupled by a fastener, and the corona generation preventing member includes an insulation pad, four insulation protrusions which protrude on one side of the insulation pad, and four holes. According to the invention, four empty coupling holes which are not coupled to the fastener among eight coupling holes of the elbow-type fixing terminal are blocked by an insulator within a scope in which coupling of the lead line is not disturbed, thereby preventing a corona phenomenon from occurring and minimizing damage to a lightning arrester caused by overheating. |
