PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless tag communication device that reduces difference between positional information on a list and a position where an article actually is, and thereby shortens search time to search for a wireless tag.SOLUTION: A wireless tag communication device comprises: a wireless tag communication unit that communicates with wireless tags which are attached to a plurality of articles and have stored identification information, and communicates by a first reading function to perform reading operation without specifying a wireless tag; a storage unit for storing information on a list associating identification information on a wireless tag with positional information on a place where an article is; a positional information setting unit for inputting positional information indicating a position to read the wireless tag; a comparison unit for comparing the positional information on the list corresponding to the identification information on the wireless tag read by the first reading function with the positional information input by the positional information setting unit; and a list information setting unit for changing the positional information on the list to the input positional information when the respective pieces of information compared by the comparison unit are different.
