<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately monitor a state of a displayed product.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 1 acquires first information 2a which indicates a detection result regarding the presence or absence of movement of a product 11 displayed in a product placement area 10 and second information 2b which indicates a detection result regarding a direction of a person 12 who exists around the product placement area 10 and determines whether to output warning information 2c on the basis of the first information 2a and the second information 2b. The occurence of a special situation, such as shoplifting, can be accurately monitored which is different from a usual situation in which the person 12 takes the product 11 in his/her hand for the purpose of purchasing.</p> |
