The present invention relates to a system and a method of an electronic document service. The system includes: an electronic document providing server for transmitting mark information for designing a layout to display an electronic document by inserting the mark information inside the electronic document; and a user terminal for receiving the electronic document transmitted by the electronic document providing server, and setting a layout configuration of the electronic document according to a user environment information based on the mark information included in the electronic document.
