摘要

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating degenerative brain diseases, containing an extract of Cinnamomi Cortex Spissus as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention contains an extract which is extracted from Cinnamomi Cortex Spissus, a natural plant, as the active ingredient and shows effects of inhibiting formation of beta-amyloids, thereby ensuring to prevent and treating degenerative brain diseases including Alzheimer′s diseases. Also, the present invention has advantages of causing little or no side effects or cytotoxicity by containing extracts derived from the natural plants as the active ingredient.
