PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strength testing apparatus of an aircraft that can generate a desired stress by safely, rapidly and surely applying an internal pressure by use of a curved barrel, and further can surely observe occurring damage.SOLUTION: A testing apparatus 1 applying an internal pressure equivalent to a pressure difference between an outside of a test object part and an inside thereof to a curved barrel 10 corresponding to the test object part of a fuselage of an aircraft comprises: a pressure container 22 that forms a cavity 23 between the barrel 10 and the pressure container; and a rod 25 that restrains the barrel 10 against the internal pressure. The pressure container 22 is configured to face the outside of the barrel 10, and an inside of the cavity 23 is decompressed to thereby have the internal pressure applied to the barrel 10. |
