PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image pickup device capable of suppressing influence of color mixture.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a solid state image pickup device comprises a color mixture correcting unit. The color mixture correcting unit comprises an output characteristic adjusting circuit 22 which is an output characteristic adjusting unit and an OTP 25 which is a coefficient holding unit. The output characteristic adjusting unit adjusts output characteristics. The output characteristics represent the relationship between signal output levels and wavelengths per color component. The coefficient holding unit holds a color mixture correction coefficient and a color sensitivity difference correction coefficient. The color mixture correction coefficient is a coefficient for color mixture correction. The color sensitivity difference correction coefficient corrects the sensitivity difference between color components in an image sensor. The coefficient holding unit holds a color sensitivity difference correction coefficient set per image height. The output characteristic adjusting unit reads a color mixture correction coefficient and a color sensitivity difference correction coefficient per image height from the coefficient holding unit. The output characteristic adjusting unit corrects the sensitivity difference corresponding to the read color sensitivity difference correction coefficient, and adjusts the output characteristics which use the color mixture correction coefficient. |
