<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently use a memory for storing compressed image data.SOLUTION: Non-compressed image data are compressed in each first unit in a first mode and compressed in each second unit smaller than the first unit in a second mode. In a memory, a first area for storing all compressed data in each image set to the first mode is secured and a second area for storing one compressed data in each image set to the second mode is secured. In each storing of all compressed data of the image set to the first mode in the memory, all the compressed data are transferred to a storage and stored in the storage so as to correspond to each other, and in each storing of the compressed data of the image set to the second mode are transferred to the storage and stored so as to correspond to the other compressed data of the image. All the compressed data of the image which is a target for present output processing are transferred from the storage to the memory.</p> |
