<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examination device that adequately reads code information displayed or printed on various media such as an electronic medium and can prevent an operator from dropping the various media such as the electronic medium when the device is reading the code information.SOLUTION: An automatic ticket examination device in an embodiment includes a radio communication unit and an optical reading unit. The radio communication unit is provided on the top surface of a ticket examination device body and performs radio communication with an electronic medium. The optical reading unit is provided on a side surface of the ticket examination device body and optically reads identifier information on the medium.</p> |
