摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchange device in which the dead space of a regenerating liquid tank, which space exists below such a position that suction action of a regenerating liquid suction unit is stopped, is made as small as possible so that useless consumption of a raw material of a regenerating liquid, which material is not used for regeneration, can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An ion exchange device 1 includes: a pressure tank 2 in which an ion exchange resin bed 211, into which raw water W1 is introduced to obtain soft water W2, is housed; a salt water tank 4 in which salt water W3 for regenerating the ion exchange resin bed 211 is stored; and a pipeline part 5 having a raw water introduction part 51 and a soft water discharge part 52. A salt water suction unit 45 for sucking the salt water from the vicinity of the bottom thereof according to the pressure fluctuation caused in the pipeline part 5 is arranged in the salt water tank 4. The salt water tank 4 has the bottom 4112 raised until such a position BL that the suction action of a salt water suction unit 45 is stopped, except for the bottom 4111 of a region where the salt water suction unit 45 is installed.</p>
