PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity shelf monitoring method for monitoring that, in a shop, frozen commodities or refrigerated commodities are left on a room temperature commodity shelf on which commodities which can be stored in room temperature are displayed.SOLUTION: In a commodity shelf monitoring system including a temperature sensor A001, a store server A002 and a notification receiver A005, the temperature sensor A001 monitors that frozen commodities or refrigerated commodities X001 are left on a room temperature commodity shelf A004, and temperature distribution data acquired with the temperature sensor A001 is analyzed by the store server A002. Then, when it is determined that the frozen commodities or the refrigerated commodities are left on the room temperature commodity shelf A004 by the store server A002, by notifying the notification receiver A005 of information about the commodities being left as to the frozen commodities or refrigerated commodities X001 being left on the room temperature commodity shelf A004, notification is given to a clerk that the commodities are left on the room temperature commodity shelf. |
