<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a between-rings joint capable of sufficiently maintaining connection between segments, even in the case of application of a force in a direction of separation of end surfaces connecting the segments for a shield tunneling method together in an axial direction of a tunnel, and a between-rings connection method.SOLUTION: A between-rings joint 30 for connecting segments 10A and 10B together in an axial direction of a tunnel includes a male pin 31 of the segment 10A, a female kiln 32 that is provided in a position corresponding to the male pin 31 of the segment 10B, and a wedge 33. The male pin 31 has a crack 34, and the female kiln 32 has a push rod 35 provided in a position corresponding to the crack 34 of the male pin 31. The wedge 33 is pushed into the crack 34 by the push rod 35 to enlarge an outside diameter of the male pin 31 within the female kiln 32.</p> |
