A logo-bearing two-dimensional code (2) displayed on a display unit has a part or all of a background image (23) thereof varying regularly in a manner that is hard to recognize with the naked eye. A screen shot (still image) generated by capturing such a logo-bearing two-dimensional code (2) can be readily distinguished as being not authentic by an image authentication process as a part of the background image (23) of the logo-bearing two-dimensional code (2) no longer varies. Thus, capturing of the logo-bearing two-dimensional code (2) can be prevented.
