The present invention relates to a geosynthetic clay liner applied to one or more conditions among fresh water, salt water, and contaminated water using bentonite, CM powder, PM powder, and zeolite by one layer or multiple layers and a waterproofting method using the same. The geosynthetic clay liner is divided into bento-tex and a bento-sheet, and one layer application is the application of each bento-tex and each bento-sheet. Moreover, the multiple layer application is the application of the first bento-tex layer plus the last bento-sheet layer, the first bento-sheet layer plus the last bento-tex layer, the first bento-tex layer plus the last HDPE sheet, the first bento-tex layer plus the last bento-mixed-soil, the first bento-sheet layer plus the last HDPE sheet, and the first bento-sheet layer plus the last bento-mixed-soil layer. The bentonite is expanded when the bentonite comes in contact with at least one among the fresh water, the salt water, and the contaminated water, and a calcium silicate hydrate and a binding gel of the magnesium silicate hydrate are formed when the CM powder comes in contact with the bentonite, and the PM powder forms the hydro gel when the PM powder comes in contact with at least one among the fresh water, the salt water, and the contaminated water. Moreover, the zeolite adsorbs or purifies a contaminant existing in at least one among the fresh water, the salt water, and the contaminated water to selectively be applied to the fresh water, the salt water, and the contaminated water when the zeolite comes in contact with at least one among the fresh water, the salt water, and the contaminated water. |
