摘要 A method for spinning and simultaneously twisting artificial threads consists in spinning the threads from a rotary spinning nozzle into a vessel, rotating with the nozzle, and maintained practically completely filled with precipitating liquid during the spinning. The spinning solution is supplied by spindle A to nozzle B located inside the spinning bath vessel C. The vessel C is closed at the top by a cover D sealed by a rubber jointing ring. A tube F forming the lower portion of a funnel G is removably inserted into the centre of the cover D, a sealing joint J preventing leakage. A thread guide K fixed to the underside of the cover consists of upper and lower bars curved <PICT:0460744/IV/1> <PICT:0460744/IV/2> in one direction and a central swingable bar curved in the other direction, and prevents the twist running into the space between thread guide and nozzle. Precipitating liquid is introduced through a feed pipe M into funnel G and is discharged through fine holes L in the vessel C. In a modification of the apparatus, the spinning nozzle B and rotating spinning bath vessel C are driven by a motor A<1>. The vessel is sealed by a cover D with outlets L, and a sealing ring E. The funnel member G is connected by an elastic connection J with a rotating sleeve F<1> which conveys the precipitating liquid straight down to the spinning nozzle. The sleeve F<1> carries the thread guide K at its upper end. The vessel C is enclosed in a casing H<1> which supports the funnel G. Precipitating fluid passing from vessel C by outlets L is thrown out against the casing H<1> and drains off at the bottom. The inner walls of sleeve F may be formed with a number of longitudinal lines and a device may be provided in the funnel G to prevent eddying of the liquid.
