In a known implement, the steering bar is mounted on the implement by means of two bearing spindles running transversely to one another. The bearing spindles are located in elastic bearing elements of bearing parts in such a way that the bearing spindles are arranged in a T-shape or crosswise relative to one another so that the longitudinal centre axis of the one bearing spindle essentially intersects the longitudinal centre axis of the other bearing spindle in its centre area. The known damping device is too complicated and for cost reasons can only be used in larger implements. The novel device is to be constructed more compactly than hitherto and is to be capable of being produced and fitted more cost-effectively. Only a single bearing element (3) is provided between the implement (2) and the steering bar (4). The bearing element (3) is arranged at the instantaneous centre of rotation of the implement (2) and is inclined towards the motor-supporting plate (14) of the implement (2). The device is considerably smaller than hitherto known solutions. It can save considerable costs. An implement can be dismantled to a certain extent with effortless ease and stowed or transported in a space-saving manner. <IMAGE>
