PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower that enables improvement of comfort by generating natural sound and wind simulating the nature and an air conditioner using the air blower.SOLUTION: An air blower includes: a fan 10 generating wind; wind direction plates 3, 4, 6 for adjusting the direction of the wind generated by the fan 10; sound reproduction means 11 for reproducing sound; and control device 100 for reproducing air flow sound that is obtained by fluctuating air-blowing sound with a certain period corresponding to drive of the fan 10 from the sound regeneration means 11 in response to driving of the fan 10. As the air flow sound, sound obtained by applying digital processing to the air-blowing sound caused by the wind direction plates and fluctuating the sound within a period of 5 seconds to 30 seconds is used. In addition to the reproduction of the air flow sound, the directions of the upper and lower wind direction plates 3, 4 are adjusted so as to blow the air to the entire body of a user. |
