摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately eliminate a midpoint misalignment even if the midpoint misalignment occurs in relation to the correlation between a steering angle and an actual steering angle of a steered wheel.SOLUTION: A vehicle steering system comprises: a steering reaction force generation unit 15 including a steering reaction force motor 16; a steering reaction force motor resolver 45 detecting a steering angle relating to a steering wheel 13; a steering device 17 including a steering motor 29; a steering motor resolver 47 detecting a steering angle relating to each steered wheel 21; a determination unit 61 determining whether a misalignment occurs in relation to a correlation between the steering angle relating to the steering wheel 13 and an actual steering angle of the steered wheel 21; and a drive control unit 65 controlling a steering motor 29 to be driven to cause the actual steering angle of the steered wheel 21 to follow up a target steering angle. If a misalignment occurs and it is predicted that the misalignment is not eliminated even by driving the steering motor 29 to try to correct the steering angle of the steered wheel 21, the drive control unit 65 controls the steering reaction force motor 16 to be driven and corrects the steering angle relating to the steering wheel 13, thereby eliminating the misalignment.
