A terminal device acquires speed-controlled-vehicle information indicating that there is a speed-controlled vehicle being controlled so as to maintain travel at a set speed through an auto cruise function or the like, and gives notification of the presence of the speed-controlled vehicle on the basis of the acquired speed-controlled-vehicle information. A driver using the terminal device can cause a vehicle to travel steadily with low fuel consumption by following the speed-controlled vehicle.
