PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling controller capable of driving a vehicle by both an internal combustion engine and a motor as drive sources on need even if the remaining electric energy of a power storage device is low.SOLUTION: A vehicle traveling controller 12 sets a first travel state in which a vehicle 10 travels only by an internal combustion engine 14 and a second travel state in which the vehicle 10 travels by both the internal combustion engine 14 and a motor 16. The first travel state and the second travel state are switched over on the basis of vehicle information including a position of an accelerator pedal 34. If remaining electric energy detected by remaining electric energy detection means 24 is below a first predetermined value, reaction force application means 40, 46 sets a first accelerator pedal position threshold TH4 for increasing the reaction force of the accelerator pedal 34 just before the first travel state is switched to the second travel state.
