<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system capable of grasping the number of passengers waiting at an elevator hall properly, and capable of alleviating congestion at the hall.SOLUTION: An elevator system includes: a gate device which is provided at a place leading to a hall, which permits passing of a person who is authenticated as a person admitted to enter by an authentication device and which outputs destination floor information of the person admitted to enter; a hall destination call registration unit for registering hall destination call in which a gate installation floor is a departure floor on the basis of the destination floor information; a car allocation unit for allocating a car to the hall destination call; a car arrival detection unit for detecting the arrival of the car to the gate installation floor; a hall waiting passenger number calculation unit for calculating the number of passengers waiting at the hall at least by using the passenger number of hall destination call in which the gate installation floor is the departure floor, and the passenger number of hall destination call in which the gate installation floor where the car which has arrived at the gate installation floor is allocated is the departure floor; and a passing permission restriction unit for restricting passing permission of the gate device when the number of passengers waiting at the hall becomes equal to or greater than a certain number.</p> |
