A tire section cutting machine utilizing diamond wires comprises a base (1), a frame (2), diamond wires (3), a winding mechanism mounted on the frame, the winding mechanism being used for bearing the diamond wires, a cutting mechanism used to implement diamond-wire cutting. The cutting mechanism includes an upper cutting wheel (5) and a lower cutting wheel (6), a drive motor and a guiding wheel assembly for adjusting the distance between the diamond wires. The upper cutting wheel (5) and the lower cutting wheel (6) are provided with a plurality of grooves. The guiding wheel assembly for adjusting the distance between the diamond wires adjusts the relative positions of the two diamond wires in the grooves of the upper cutting wheel and the lower cutting wheel while winding, so as to achieve a double-cutter-position cutting of the tire section with different thickness specifications.
