A polymeric functional film which has a structure represented by general formula (1) and a structure represented by general formula (2), and has an ion exchange capacity of 2.0-7.0 meq/g. In general formula (1), LL represents a single bond, an optionally substituted alkylene group, -O-, -S-, -NRZ- or a linking group wherein some of these groups are combined; each of LL1 ad LL2 represents -(CR1R2)l- or -(CR1R2)l-C(=O)O- wherein an oxygen atom is bonded to LL; each of R1 and R2 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; l represents 1 or 2; and RZ represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent. In this connection, the terminal atom of the substituent in the LL moiety or the terminal atom of the substituent of RZ is a sulfur atom, the sulfur atom has a bonding hand to be incorporated into the polymer chain. In general formula (2), Ar represents an aryl group; L1 represents a single bond or a divalent linking group; and n1 represents an integer of 0-10. |
