This invention provides a color-scheme evaluation device and the like that evaluate, on the basis of relationships between groups into which evaluation-target objects constituting an evaluation-target screen such as a system screen are categorized, whether or not the color scheme of said evaluation-target objects is appropriate. This color-scheme evaluation device has a color-palette storage means and a color-scheme evaluation means. The color-palette storage means stores information regarding the color palette of the color scheme of evaluation-target objects constituting an evaluation-target screen. On the basis of evaluation-target-object information and group-relationship information, where said evaluation-target-object information includes information regarding the color scheme of the evaluation-target objects and information regarding the groups into which said evaluation-target objects have been categorized in accordance with specific criteria and the group-relationship information represents relationships between said groups, by interpreting the relationships between the groups into which the evaluation-target objects have been categorized, the color-scheme evaluation means sets evaluation criteria against which the color scheme of the evaluation-target objects can be evaluated, and by referring to the information regarding the abovementioned color palette, the color-scheme evaluation means evaluates the color scheme of the evaluation-target objects against the aforementioned evaluation criteria. |
