The present invention relates to an embedded electrochromic device capable of rapid reaction and flexible extension. The embedded electrochromic device according to the present invention comprises: a base material made of a first polymer; and a plurality of electrochromic unit cells embedded in the base material. The electrochromic unit cells comprise: an electrochromic structure having an electrochromic layer; first and second electrodes connected to one surface and the other surface of the electrochromic structure; and a high stiffness polymer layer made of a second polymer of higher stiffness than the first polymer provided between the base material and the electrochromic structure.
