<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair system, a repair method and a program that enable quick data repair. <P>SOLUTION: The repair system comprises: multiple storage units 1 that are connected to a first communication network 1N and individually include a storage part; and a backup unit 2 for communicating with the storage units 1 through a second communication network 2N connected with the first communication network 1N. One of the storage units 1 executes the steps of: receiving a list with an identifier of repaired data associated with metadata, from the backup unit 2; requesting other storage units 1 or the backup unit 2 for data for repair, according to a response to an inquiry given to one or more of other storage units 1 on the basis of the received list, and acquiring the requested data for repair; and using the acquired data for repair to repair the repaired data that is stored in the storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
