<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of appropriately correcting displacement of a visible image of each color by correcting a resist adjustment value according to not only a temperature of an optical scanning device but also a working rate of an image forming process section. <P>SOLUTION: A resist adjustment value A before a correction that is determined by a resist process is corrected based on the expression (1) using an internal temperature t1(°C) in the resist process and an internal temperature t2(°C) in a printing process to determine a resist adjustment value B. Further, the resist adjustment value B is corrected based on the expression (2) using a working rate (a) related to the resist process and a working rate b related to the printing process to determine a resist adjustment value C.
