<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of guiding a destination section by increasing security to a patient in a medical institute.SOLUTION: The server of a patient guiding system includes: means for, when acquiring acceptance information including the information of one or more sections as the destination of a patient, storing patient identification information for uniquely identifying the patient in the order of acceptance in a database as the waiting situation information of each section; means for further storing the number of processed patients and the number of processing waiting patients as the waiting situation information of each section in the database; means for calculating an average waiting time in each section by dividing a lapsed time posterior to the start of acceptance calculated from the acceptance start time and the current time by the number of processed patients in response to a browsing request for the waiting situation information of each section; means for calculating a predicted waiting time in each section by multiplying the average waiting time in each section by the number of processing waiting patients; and means for outputting the predicted waiting time to a terminal.</p> |
