The low profile windscreen washer for a car has a flexible tube (7) fitted to the rear edge of the bonnet cover (1) and with a series of perforated holes to direct water evenly over the windscreen. The tube is shaped for low drag and does not provide any collecting groove for water and dirt. The rear edge of the bonnet cover has a gap to allow warm engine air to pass through and prevent the tube from freezing. It also improves the water jet spray pattern.
