<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tar pan of a coke oven in which the substitution work is easy, and a substitution device of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The main part of a tar pan is made a receiving member 7 consisting of a sheet metal, a span member 23 is installed on both sides of back stays 3 of a kilnmouth 2 to suspend on the back stays 3, a guide member 24 having a guide rail 25 at the distance direction of the kilnmouth 2 is installed to the span member 23, a lift member 26 that lifts the receiving member 7 is installed to the guide rail 25 of the guide member 24, the receiving member 7 is lifted by the lift member 26, the lift member 26 is moved to the distance direction of the kilnmouth 2 along the guide rail 25 of the guide member 24, thereby the substitution work of the receiving member 7 is simplified.
