<p>A stethoscope equipped with two head portions used to fit two diaphragms having different diameters, respectively, to the head main body portion, and having various design properties and functionalities. The stethoscope head is constituted of a head main body portion, and a conducting pipe connection mouth provided in the head main body portion, wherein the head main body portion consists of a transparent or translucent main diaphragm connected with the conducting pipe connection mouth, a sub-head portion formed on the side opposite to the main diaphragm with the conducting pipe connection mouth between them. The sub-head portion has a space for receiving a sub-diaphragm for high frequency auscultation and/or narrow band auscultation or receiving apparatuses providing various functions, and a fixing means for attaching the sub-diaphragm or the apparatuses to the sub-head portion. The fixing means has a plastic ring member which is fitted removably to the outer circumferential edge of the sub-head portion, and a lid member for retaining the apparatuses in the space by attaching the plastic ring member.</p> |
