The present invention provides methods for the assessment of risk of deve loping lung cancer in smokers and non-smokers using analysis of genetic poly morphisms. The present invention also relates to the use of genetic polymorp hisms in assessing a subject's risk of developing lung cancer, and the suita bility of a subject for an intervention in respect of lung cancer. Nucleotid e probes and primers, kits, and microarrays suitable for such assessment are also provided. |
