PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processing apparatus for specifying any abnormal coin when discriminating the abnormal coin, and for clarifying the discrimination factor. SOLUTION: This coin processor includes a coin conveying means 26 for conveying a coin on a coin path 15; an identification means 34 for discriminating a coin on the coin path 15; coin stopping means 36a and 36b for stopping the coin on the coin path 15; a display means for performing display; and a control means for, when any abnormal coin is discriminated by the discrimination means 34, making the coin stopping means 36a and 36b stop the abnormal coin, and for displaying the detection image of the abnormal coin at the display means when the discrimination factor of the abnormal coin by the discrimination mans 34 is a factor relating to the detection image.
