PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange messages in real time between a personal computer and a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A system server 1 provides a chat or a real-time teleconference service in which messages can be exchanged in real time among terminals of media of two or more kinds. In the system server 1, messages from a personal computer 2 or from a telephone set 3 are respectively converted into data format of the telephone set or the personal computer, and are respectively transmitted to the telephone set 3 or to the personal computer 2.
