PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a bumper structure for a vehicle capable of improving cooling performance of a radiator. SOLUTION: As an upper projection 15 is formed on an apron member 10, the flow direction of air B, introduced from air inlet 2 of a bumper cover 1 and flowing along the apron member 10, is deflected upward by the upper projection 15. Accordingly, the air B which flows in comparatively low side along the apron member 10 impinges on a core part 9 of a radiator 9, and cooling performance of the radiator 7 is improved. Also, as a lower projection 20 is formed on the apron member 10, the flow direction of air C flowing below the apron member 10 is deflected downward by the lower projection 20. Therefore, the air C flowing along the lower surface of the apron member 10 is separated from the lower surface of a frame member 4, and a negative pressure part M is generated behind the lower projection 20. If the negative pressure part M is generated, discharging of air behind the radiator 7 is accelerated and cooling performance of the radiator 7 is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
