<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system, eliminating the need of previously recording positional information in a RFID (radio frequency identification) tag, and recognizing the location of an article to which the RFID tag is fitted without connecting an accessory device such as a GPS device. <P>SOLUTION: This article management system, which manages the articles by an RFID system adapted to read and write information by radio waves, includes: a control device 1 for outputting a write command, a read command, and a comparison an check command; an antenna 2 connected to the control device 1; and the RFID tag 3 which performs predetermined operation by radio waves output from the antenna 2, wherein the RFID tag 3 includes: a control means 5 for distributing a command output from the control device 1; a memory 6 previously recording article; an output means 8 for checking the command distributed by the control means 5 with article information recorded in the memory 6 and outputting the check result; and an informing means 7 for informing the location of an article to a user on receiving the output of the output means 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
