PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper registering apparatus for improving paper registering performance of a stacking sheet, by sufficiently coping with possible sheet falling by being largely dislocated in the width direction. SOLUTION: A width directional paper registering apparatus 35 has a rear paper registering plate part 57 arranged on both sides in the advancing direction L of an ejecting sheet 9, and a paper size changing mechanism 53 of adjusting a width directional B position of the rear paper registering plate part 57 in response to a size of the sheet 9, and registers the width directional B position by striking both side parts of the sheet 9 by the rear paper registering plate part 57 by periodically reciprocating the rear paper registering plate part 57 to the sheet 9, and is characterized in that the rear paper registering plate part 57 has a rear registering plate vibrating mechanism 59 installed in a moving part of the paper size changing mechanism 53 and making ordinary reciprocating motion, and is constituted for making large amplitude reciprocating motion having amplitude larger by several times or more than amplitude of ordinary reciprocating motion in the predetermined timing.
