PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit by which an occurrence cause of interception is grasped. SOLUTION: When wiring 42 to supply power to a load 40 is detected to be electrically intercepted by an intercepting portion 30, a route to supply the power to the load 40 is switched to a route to supply through bypass wiring 44, then a supply state of the power supplied to the load 40 through the bypass wiring 44 is detected by a supply state detecting portion 34.
