A vehicle seat that has two seatbacks split in the vehicle with direction, in which an effective seating space in the vehicle width direction of the seatbacks is expanded by a simple mechanism, and in which the weight of the entire seat is reduced. Both ends of an operation shaft (23) of a first recliner device (22) corresponding to a first seatback (1) are supported by a first bracket (21a) and a third bracket (11). A support pin (24) extending coaxially with the operation shaft (23) toward a second seatback (3) is provided at the third bracket (11). A second bracket (31) of the second setback (3) is placed adjacent to the first seatback (2) such that the support pin (24) is inserted in the second bracket (31). A second recliner device (34) corresponding to the second seatback (3) is provided only on that side of the second seatback that is far from the first seatback (2). The second seatback (3) is supported by the second recliner device (34) so that the second seatback (3) can be tilted and rotated about the support pin (24).
