<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit capable of drastically reducing the size of a vehicular lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: An LED 12 is arranged, facing upward in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis Ax that extends to the vehicle back-and-forth direction, and a reflector 14 including a first reflecting face 14a for condensing and reflecting light from the LED 12 forward approaching the optical axis is provided on the upper side. The first reflecting face 14a is formed so that the distance L in a direction perpendicular from the LED 12 up to the first reflecting face 14a is set to be about 10 mm, with which the reflector 14 is significantly downsized than before. At this time, since the LED 12 is used as a light source, influence due to heat generation is restrained, and it can also be used substantially as a point light source, and an appropriate reflecting control can be carried out, even when the reflector 14 is downsized.
